A multinational with a worldwide coverage

Natraceutical Group became a provider of nutritional and functional ingredients following an ongoing project launched in 2005, when the company started their international expansion process through several acquisitions in this sector. The last step in the expansion process was reached last December 2009, with the agreement with French corporation Naturex for the integration of Natraceutical's Ingredients Division into Naturex. This merge has given birth to the leading independent company of speciality ingredients in the world. As a result of this transaction, Natraceutical Group became the main shareholder in Naturex, with a stake of around 34% in the company.   

Creation of a Pan-European brand

In October 2006, Natraceutical expanded its sphere of activity by penetrating the nutritional supplements sector with the acquisition of Monaco-based company Laboratoires Forté Pharma, one of the leaders in the French market. The strategy of value creation with this transaction considers the creation of a Pan-European brand in a three-years period. At present, Natraceutical has already introduced Forte Pharmá in Belgium, The Nederlands, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Spain and Portugal.

At present, Natraceutical Group includes Laboratoires Forté Pharma, head company of the Nutritional Supplements Division, together with a 35% stake in multinational corporation Naturex.
